Have something burrowing under our garage slab. My neighbor, who controls prairie dogs for local ranchers, says it is not prairie dogs. Also, can’t use poison gas because it’s under the garage and immediately adjacent to the house. Am going to try a rat trap, staked net to the entry. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like a good plan. You could also try to remove all sources of food.
